Welcome to the Colorado Valley Telephone Cooperative (CVTC) Scholarship Program! We believe in igniting our students’ curiosity, growing their self-confidence, and empowering them to become the next generation of changemakers. Our scholarships are designed to reward students who demonstrate dedication, drive, and academic excellence, providing them with the opportunity to pursue a transformative education free from financial barriers.
Each year, CVTC awards $5,000 scholarships to graduating seniors from area high schools. In 2025, we proudly awarded $60,000 in scholarships to 12 outstanding students representing six different schools. These scholarships are made possible through our Rural Scholarship Fund, which is supported by unclaimed capital credits and deposits from former members, as well as earnings from funds set aside specifically for educational support.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for a CVTC Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must reside/live in a household serviced by the Colorado Valley Telephone Cooperative (CVTC service area)
- Be a high school student – graduating senior and applied for admission to a college/university

Application Timeline:
- January 2026: Online application period opens.
- April 1, 2026: Application and supporting documentation deadline.
- Month Day, 2026: Scholarships will be announced/awarded
